About Daniel Lubetzky

Daniel Lubetzky

Best known as the founder of KIND Snacks, Daniel Lubetzky is a social entrepreneur focused on empowering people to work across divides to solve our toughest problems together. Lubetzky founded Camino Partners, which invests in growth-stage businesses driven by shared values.

Lubetzky’s foray into food was the unexpected outcome of his work to use business to bring neighbors in Middle Eastern conflict regions together. With the nonprofit OneVoice Movement, he has helped build the largest grassroots movement of Israelis and Palestinians committed to forging a future in which both peoples can live with security, freedom and dignity. The son of a Holocaust survivor, Lubetzky is motivated to try to prevent what happened to his father from happening again.

He also founded Builders, a global nonprofit that fosters flexible thinking and constructive problem-solving. The organization works across media, civics and education to equip people to overcome extremist ideologies and work together on solutions.

Lubetzky often shares his perspectives on moderation, bridge-building, democracy and social enterprise in TED, Newsweek, Fortune, CNN, TIME and other news platforms. Following five consecutive seasons as a recurring guest on ABC’s Shark Tank, Lubetzky joined the cast as a regular guest for season 16 in 2024. Lubetzky is also the author of The New York Times bestseller Do the KIND Thing.

Lubetzky is a member of the Anti-Defamation League board of directors. He has received the King Center’s Beloved Community Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, Columbia Business School’s Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics, Carnegie Corp.'s Great Immigrants Award and the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award for Civility and Compassion. President Barack Obama named Lubetzky a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship.

Lubetzky holds a BA in economics and international relations from Trinity University and a JD from Stanford Law School. He is a U.S. citizen who emigrated from Mexico at age 16. He enjoys spending time with his family and practicing magic.
