Outlook for North American Trade and Immigration

Dallas & virtual

Hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and the Peterson Institute for International Economics

Tariffs, immigration and nearshoring are the current defining topics for the U.S.–Mexico relationship. The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and the Peterson Institute for International Economics will host a conference on the economic outlook for North America through the lens of these issues. Topic experts will discuss the economic implications of declining immigration, higher tariffs and nearshoring in Mexico as well as other dynamics of the North American economy.

This event is the first in a two-part conference series. Join us this fall in Washington, D.C., for the second installment.
