Dallas Fed names Armida Riojas regional executive for the San Antonio Branch

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has named Armida Riojas as regional executive for the San Antonio Branch market.

In her new role, Riojas will lead efforts to strengthen the Bank’s presence in the Central and South Texas region.

By deepening relationships with business and community leaders through a focus on regional outreach, the Dallas Fed will be able to gather more grassroots information about the local economy and help shape ongoing research and policy making. Riojas will also be responsible for the administrative functions of the branch and its Board of Directors.

Riojas, an assistant vice president, joined the Dallas Fed in 2007. After holding numerous positions, she was appointed to a leadership role at the San Antonio Branch in 2022.

Riojas serves on the board of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and sits on the board of Jump$tart Coalition of Texas, a nonprofit organization that focuses on financial literacy and the importance of effective financial education. She is a graduate of Leadership Women’s Leadership Texas program.

Riojas earned an M.A. in economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a B.S. in economics from Baylor University. She is a native of Brownsville, Texas.
