Dallas Fed appoints Gina Luna to Houston Branch board

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Gina Luna to its Houston Branch board of directors for a term ending December 31, 2020.
Luna is CEO of Luna Strategies, LLC. She is a board member and advisor to several privately held companies. Previously, she was chair of JPMorgan Chase in the Houston Region and head of middle-market banking.
She is founding chair of Houston Exponential and a member of the boards of the Greater Houston Partnership, CHI St. Luke’s Health System and The Welch Foundation. She was elected chair of the Greater Houston Partnership in 2015 and served as chair of UpSkill Houston from 2013 to 2017.
Luna is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, International Women’s Forum and Texas A&M University Mays School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board. She is active in the Young Presidents’ Organization.
Luna received the Bob Onstead Leadership Award from the Greater Houston Partnership, is a Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame inductee and was named one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women.
She is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University.
The Houston Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
