Armida RiojasArmida Riojas is regional executive for San Antonio and assistant vice president for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. In this role, she leads a comprehensive range of outreach activities designed to strengthen connections with business and community leaders and contribute to the Dallas Fed’s understanding of the regional economy.

Riojas manages the San Antonio branch, overseeing administrative functions for the branch and community engagement and development for South Texas. She also heads efforts to cultivate relationships with business and community leaders in Mexico. Since joining the Dallas Fed in 2007, Riojas has developed myriad strategic outreach programs and worked with various organizations supporting economic and business development.

Riojas serves as chair adviser on the board of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and she is a member of Leadership Women. She earned a master’s in economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a bachelor’s in economics from Baylor University.

She is a proud native of Brownsville, Texas, and graduated high school from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Santa Catarina in Monterrey, Mexico.
