Donald Bowers is North Texas regional executive and vice president with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. In this role, Bowers
leads efforts to build relationships with business and community leaders in the area, part of the Dallas Fed’s work to understand
regional economic trends and foster economic growth. Previously Bowers was deputy regional executive at the Houston Branch.
Bowers actively supports efforts to expand the reach of undergraduate banking education at universities across the region, and he serves on the boards of Children at Risk and the James A. Baker Institute for Public Policy, and as an emeritus trustee at Rice University. Bowers is also a member of the United Way Chairman’s Club and the World Affairs Council Houston and Dallas, and he is a senior fellow and former board member of the American Leadership Forum.
Bowers received a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and a master’s of business administration from Sam Houston State University, with a concentration in banking and finance.
