Travis J. Machen

Travis J. Machen is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Financial Sector Advisory Council.

Machen was appointed CEO and group head of Global Banking and Markets at Scotiabank in May 2024. He is responsible for Global Banking and Markets’ strategic presence in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Before that he served as head of the Financial Institutions Group at JPMorgan in the commercial banking division, where he oversaw corporate banking for banks, mortgage, insurance, diversified financials, and hedge funds and money managers.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and is a SEP graduate of Stanford Business School.
