Ford Sasser

Ford SasserFord Sasser is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.

Sasser came to Rio Bank in 1999 as president and CEO and is currently serving as the CEO and vice chairman. He previously worked at several banks in the McAllen area and was also a bank examiner with the Texas Department of Banking.

Sasser serves on the Executive Committee of the Texas A&M Commercial Banking Program in the Mays Business School. He was a board advisor for the State Bar of Texas. He also served on the State Board of the Texas Bankers Association for several years and served one year as chairman. In addition to his statewide service, Sasser has served and continues to serve on many local boards.

He attended Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics.
