Gabriel “Gabe” Guerra

Gabriel “Gabe” Guerra joined the San Antonio Branch board in 2022.

Guerra is president and CEO of Kleberg Bank, an independent community bank established in 1905 in Kingsville, Texas.

Prior to joining Kleberg Bank in 2007, he served as regional vice president for Wells Fargo Bank, responsible for indirect lending for the 12 State Midwestern Region. He spent the first five years of his career with Ford Motor Credit Company in Austin and Dallas.

Guerra currently serves as a commissioner of the Port of Corpus Christi Authority, chairman of the Christus Spohn Health System, a Federal Delegate Board member of the Independent Community Bankers Association of America and a director of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas.  He is past chairman of both the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corp., and Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a BBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
