Selena MunozSelena Munoz serves as vice president of Credit, Risk and Reserves Management, where she provides strategic oversight for the discount window, payment system risk, condition monitoring, reserves management, and compliance and risk management functions. Her team supports the implementation of monetary policy and relieves liquidity strains in the U.S. financial system by providing extensions of credit to eligible depository institutions, administering master accounts and paying interest on reserves. Her team also monitors the condition of all Eleventh District depository institutions and mitigates credit risk to the Dallas Fed and the payment system by setting appropriate risk controls.

Munoz began her career in 2001 as an intern and progressed to leadership in 2012 as she helped establish the Financial Management Shared Services Center at the Dallas Fed as a national central service provider for the Federal Reserve System. During her tenure, she worked in other various roles and was promoted to assistant vice president of Financial Management in 2020.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and is also a graduate of the Dallas Fed’s Career Development Program.
