Dallas Fed names John S. Insley Jr. as vice president

For immediate release: Feb. 9, 2016

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed John S. Insley Jr. as vice president in the Banking Supervision Department.

As a vice president, Insley will provide leadership for the Consumer Affairs, Applications, and Exam Support and Records Management divisions of Banking Supervision.

Previously, Insley served as assistant vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. With more than 30 years of experience as a bank regulator, Insley has served in various positions focusing on consumer laws and regulations. He began his career at the Richmond Fed in 1984.

Insley holds a bachelor’s degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland. He also graduated from the Maryland Banking School and Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
