DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has reappointed Jodie L. Jiles to the Dallas Fed's Houston Branch board of directors. He will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2008.

Jiles was first appointed to the Houston Branch board in 2005.

Jiles is managing director of RBC Capital Markets in Houston. He has been in the municipal finance business for more than 20 years with various Wall Street, regional and minority firms.

He serves on the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital boards and the University of Texas Health Science Center Development Board. He is a board member of both the Center for Reform of School Systems and the Charter Schools Policy Institute.

Jiles was appointed by Texas Gov. Rick Perry to the Texas Tax Reform Commission. He previously served as chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership and on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas Southern University and a master's degree in professional accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin.

The Houston Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
