Dallas Fed announces executive promotion at Houston Branch

DALLAS—Daron Peschel has been promoted to vice president at the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Peschel will continue to oversee various activities at the Houston Branch, including administrative services and property management. Peschel serves as secretary to the Houston Branch board of directors.

Peschel joined the Bank in 1989 as an administrative intern. In 1994, he served on special assignment at the Federal Reserve System Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., and later in several analytical and managerial roles. He was named operations officer in 1998 and assistant vice president in 2001.

Peschel also served as financial manager for the new Houston Branch building.

He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of the Bank's career development program. Peschel is currently pursuing an executive MBA in banking and finance from Sam Houston State University.
