Dallas Fed Announces Executive Promotions
DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has announced the following promotions:
Kathy Johnsrud has been promoted to vice president with continuing responsibility for the Statistics Department. Johnsrud directs statistical processing of monetary policy and other reports. She has participated in various Federal Reserve System statistics initiatives. Johnsrud holds a B.S. in business from the University of Wisconsin–Stout and is a graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Harvey Mitchell has been promoted to vice president with continuing responsibility for the Treasury Services Department. Mitchell is responsible for the GoDirect program at the Dallas Fed. He has served on numerous Federal Reserve System groups. He holds a B.S. in statistics from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Alfreda Norman has been promoted to assistant vice president with continuing responsibility for Community Affairs in the Public Affairs Department. Norman is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Bank’s Community Affairs office. Previously, she served as community affairs officer. Norman is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and the University of Virginia's Graduate School of Retail Banking.
Tommy Alsbrooks has been promoted to assistant vice president. Previously, Alsbrooks served as information technology officer. Alsbrooks is responsible for the Desktop Services Competency Center. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Solutions Developer, Database Administrator and Trainer and is enrolled in the Fast Track M.B.A. Program at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Margaret Schieffer has been promoted to automation officer. Previously, Schieffer was automation group manager. In her new role, she will have direct supervision of the information technology function within the Banking Supervision Department. Schieffer is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
