Dallas Fed announces executive promotion at Houston Branch

DALLAS—Randy L. Steinley has been promoted to examining officer at the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Steinley will have executive responsibilities for banking supervision activities.

Steinley has held the position of director of examinations with responsibility for supervision of commercial banks, bank holding companies and foreign bank operations. He has served as a member of the Federal Reserve’s Foreign Banking Organization Management Committee and the Bank Secrecy Act Working Group.

He has worked closely with other federal regulators, the Texas Department of Banking and financial institutions to improve examination processes and preserve the seamless supervision concept.

Steinley holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the Colorado Graduate School of Banking, the Graduate School of Community Bank Management at Sam Houston State University and the Dallas Fed’s Career Development Program.
