New CRA Officers Workshop

In cooperation with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Office of Thrift Supervision and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
This interagency-sponsored workshop is designed for new CRA Officers at Small or Intermediate Small Banks and Thrifts who are interested in obtaining current information and training on the CRA regulation, exam preparation and how to develop a bank CRA compliance strategy.
Topics include:
- A regulation overview
- Understanding bank performance context
- Assessing community needs
- Qualified community development activities
- Assessing a bank’s lending performance
Participants will be provided a resource notebook and will engage in case studies and exercises.
Workshop Information
The sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Space is limited to the first 40 registrants. (One representative per financial institution.) The workshops are free of charge.
