A Conference for Bankers

The U.S. economy currently faces challenges on many fronts. This one-day conference examined the financial crisis that began in subprime mortgages and rapidly spread through the U.S. and world economies. It considered financial globalization's impact on facilitating the crisis and the need for policy changes. The impact on our regional economy and timely policy issues such as immigration was also addressed.
