When a survey indicated that Lufkin and Nacogdoches needed affordable housing for individuals with special needs, Pineywoods worked with Regions Bank, Moore Building Associates, TDHCA and both cities to develop 20 single-family rental units that meet universal design accessibility standards. Survey of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Properties
Beginning in 2002, the 15-year affordability period will end for 10,000 units of LIHTC housing developed in Texas from 1987 to 1989. The Dallas Fed surveyed owners to determine if the properties will remain affordable beyond 15 years. At a time when Texas has a growing need for affordable housing, the survey provides useful information on the future of these properties. Read more »
