The Economy in Action: Economic Summit
June 12–13, 2012Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas
This two-day conference for secondary educators debuted the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ new permanent exhibit, “The Economy in Action.”
In the tradition of this flagship conference, the 2012 Economic Summit dealt with important and timely economic issues and provided ideas for addressing the conference content in the classroom. The conference content drew from the themes of the new exhibit, including the drivers of the regional economy, the history of central banking in the U.S., the role of the Federal Reserve in the American economy and more.
