                    TEXAS INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION INDEX


         The Texas Industrial Production Index rose a seasonally adjusted
0.1 percent from May to June.  June's level was 3.6 percent above
the year-ago figure.

Changes in major components of TIPI between May 2008 and June 2008

         - Overall manufacturing output was unchanged.
           - Durable goods decreased 0.1 percent.
           - Nondurable goods increased 0.1 percent.
         - Mining increased 0.3 percent.
         - Utilities decreased 0.1 percent.

Changes in major components of TIPI between June 2007 and June 2008
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

         - Overall manufacturing output increased 1.6 percent.
           - Durable goods increased 1.2 percent.
           - Nondurable goods increased 2.0 percent.
         - Mining increased 7.5 percent.
         - Utilities increased 3.2  percent.
