Building Wealth, a beginner’s guide to securing your financial future, is now available as a mobile app for Android, Apple and Blackberry smartphones and tablets.
The Dallas Fed developed the Building Wealth program in the late 1990s because poor credit and lack of personal financial wealth were the most common reasons people couldn’t buy their first home or start a business.
This new mobile version of Building Wealth will put financial education into the hands of more consumers than ever before. Our message continues to be that regardless of your income level, you can to build wealth by setting goals, budgeting, saving, investing, building credit and controlling debt. A game allows users to test their wealth knowledge and challenge their friends by sharing their scores on Facebook and Twitter or via email message.

A Beginner's Guide to Securing Your Financial Future
Building Wealth is a personal finance education resource that can be used individually or in the classroom to help young people develop a plan for building personal wealth. It presents an overview of personal wealth-building strategies that includes setting financial goals, budgeting, saving and investing, managing debt, and understanding credit reports and credit scores.
